A 2011 American drama film, Margin Call is based on a true story. In his feature directorial debut, J C Chandor wrote and directed this film.

This story is set in the initial stages of the financial crisis of 2007-2008 at a large Wall Street investment bank. This article focuses on the actions taken by a group of employees following the collapse of the financial system. This term refers to the need to increase the value of securities or other assets used as collateral for a loan when their value falls below a certain level.

In 2002, an American biographical crime comedy-drama film was released called Catch Me If You Can. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks and is directed and produced by Steven Spielberg.

Efforts are being made by a jury in the overheated jury room of the New York County Courthouse to make a decision on the case of an impoverished 18-year-old accused of stabbing his abusive father to death.
